About This Package
ESIC stands for Employee State Insurance Corporation which is an autonomous body created by the Ministry of Labor and Employment that governs and regulates the Employee State Insurance in India.
Employee State Insurance is a self-financing social security scheme, initiated for the benefits of the Indian workers by providing them with the necessary benefits such as medical facility, monetary facilities and such other benefits from his employer.
The scheme protects the interest of employees during illness and emergencies which includes maternity, sickness, accidents, demise due to employment injury or harm, permanent or temporary physical disablement and everything that affects the earning capacity. Any entity if employed ten or more employees at any time during the previous year shall mandatorily get ESIC Registration. In such organization (employing 10 or more employees), all employees having salary Rs. 21,000/- or less is covered under ESIC (The limit is Rs. 25,000/- if the employee is having any certified disability).The scheme protects the interest of employees during illness and emergencies which includes maternity, sickness, accidents, demise due to employment injury or harm, permanent or temporary physical disablement and everything that affects the earning capacity. Documents Required
- Name of the employer
- PAN Card of the employer
- Id proof such as Driving License/Passport/Voter Id
- Address proof of registered office such as electricity bill/rent agreement (in case premise is rented) or registry (for owned premise)
- In case the establishment is a society, trust, LLP or company, copy of Certificate of Incorporation is needed
- Partnership deed, id proof & address proof of every partner if the establishment is a partnership firm
- MOA, AOA and Certificate of Incorporation if the applicant is a private or public company.
